Allura Seaside Masterplan

Allura Seaside Village is a Traditional Neighborhood Development (TND) with its architectural vision rooted in the style of Hawaiian and local Konkan architecture featuring wide overhangs, open verandahs and sloping roofs, a characteristic of the coastal context of Dapoli.

Located on a hilltop around the RGSC Cricket club, Allura Village is master-planned, keeping in mind the public realm of parks, pathways streets and civic buildings in a manner reminiscent of the world’s most beloved seaside towns. The simple volumes of whitewashed masonry and stucco typical of the style possess an uncomplicated, organic beauty. Buildings are grouped into small compounds and unified by perimeter walls, which are higher and more formal. The Hawaiian style is combined with a verandah house type that originated in British Colonial Era.

The entire development is intended to be pedestrian-friendly with restricted vehicular movement. The scale of the two-storey buildings is intimate and offers a sense of comfort along the streets for pedestrians.
