Supratik Township Masterplan

Development of the 65 Acre Masterplan in Nagpur is based on “Traditional Neighborhood Design Principles”, the principles of planning and architecture that work together to create human-scale, walkable, functional and sustainable communities.

The overall Masterplan builds a compact and vibrant community, with parks and open spaces. The residential blocks are designed in clusters around private courtyards featuring a variety of building types such as apartments, affordable housing, rowhouses, and villas, to meet the requirements of a diverse demographic profile.

All residents will be within walking distance of their daily needs, where the heart of the community lies in The “Town Center” with its urban plaza, due to strategic planning of a series of activities such as malls, offices and outdoor cafes around it. Sited as anchors are two public parks with a library & school that provide access to civic places of relaxation and enjoyment.

The project won the National HUDCO Award for most “Innovative Township Masterplanning” in 2014 along with being featured in several publications.
