County Cricket Clubs in England inspired the design of the Royal Goldfield Cricket Pavilion. The building evokes a colonial feel by employing neo-traditional design elements like sloping roofs, deep verandahs, thick masonry walls, etc.
Entrance is defined by a neatly arranged row of Royal Palms and the landscaped roundabout, creating an avenue that leads to the drop off point. The building is conceived into three distinctly articulated parts. The North and South wings accommodate 24 guest rooms each, with verandahs overlooking the 70-yard cricket ground.
Featuring a clock tower and an observatory, between these two wings is the three three-story “Central Block”. It houses the guest lounge, exercise room, locker rooms, cafeteria, sports bar, fine dining and a conference room.
