The primary concern was to manage the logistics and execution of the new design without disturbing the on-going operations. Renovation of a healthcare facility is particularly challenging as the industry is a constantly evolving one.

The new design demands the integration of new technology with improved architectural features within the structural limitations of the building. Incorporating a better way finding strategy, improving the circulation spaces and enhancing the natural daylight conditions, were major design considerations to create a more favourable healing environment.
